Sammy Peoples grew up in the church and has long been interested in understanding the foundations of the Christian faith. Over the years, he has studied the historical, philosophical, scientific, and biblical foundations of Christianity, seeking to understand the evidence and make it accessible to ordinary believers.

Building a Confident Faith grew out of a conversation with his son about leading a church study on apologetics. Unable to find a resource that combined a comprehensive introduction to the Christian faith with an accessible format for individuals and small groups, Sammy developed a sixteen-session study that he and his son later led in their local church. That study became the foundation for this book.

Building a Confident Faith explores some of the most important questions surrounding Christianity. Rather than avoiding difficult issues or relying on easy answers, the study invites readers to examine the evidence, think carefully, and engage the questions honestly.

Designed for both individual study and small groups, the 16 sessions provide a structured way to explore questions about truth, God, the Bible, Jesus, suffering, science, morality, and other challenging aspects of the Christian faith.

Building a Confident Faith can be used for personal study or as a small-group resource. Each session combines accessible teaching, Scripture, discussion, reflection, and practical application.

It is particularly suited for students, young adults, church groups, and anyone who wants to explore Christianity more thoughtfully and confidently.
